Structure

Our facility offers the services of:

  • Day-Hospital or day hospitalization, of less than one day's duration for those patients who require specific treatments or pharmacological administrations pertaining exclusively to the Veterinary Physician but not involving the need for standard hospitalization.
  • Day-Surgery or standard extended hospitalization of varying duration for those patients requiring surgery or invasive diagnostic or therapeutic procedures under local or general anesthesia.
  • Emergency hospitalization: this type of hospitalization is authorized by the Medical Director, the Emergency Room Manager or the Veterinary Physician on duty.

Hospitalization of the patient requires that the owner of the dog or cat sign the informed consent to treatments and accept the initial cost estimate with simultaneous payment of the down payment equal to XX of the total budgeted amount.

Prevention is extremely important to monitor the health status of dogs and cats. Having regular blood tests helps to sense any changes in normal values and intervene promptly with more in-depth analysis. For problems already in progress, on the other hand, thanks to the timeliness of the reports obtained in our in-house laboratory, we are able to obtain almost immediate feedback. In emergency treatment, promptness of action is critical.

Indispensable for the investigation of soft tissues, the study of lymph nodes, inflammatory changes, and to check for lipomas and cysts or foreign bodies. We employ trained Veterinary Sonographers by appointment and in case of emergency, we perform Echo Fast on dogs and cats arriving in the Emergency Room for immediate assessments of the status of internal organs.

We use digital equipment that ensures high image quality in real time.

The purpose of the radiographic study of bones is to analyze the morphology and structure of skeletal components by detecting their alterations, malformations, recent or previous trauma but also degenerative or neoplastic processes.

We have a 24-hour staff of surgeons and anesthesiologists for emergency surgeries, and provide fast and effective care for animals whose lives are at risk from traumatic events or serious clinical conditions with the possibility of postoperative hospitalization.

Our surgical room is air-conditioned and equipped for any kind of general surgery the animal may need. Anesthesia, of the gaseous type, is practiced with the most modern techniques to ensure the highest standards of safety for the 'animal, and monitoring of vital functions (heart rate, oxygenation, blood pressure) is done through the use of multi-parameter monitors. An experienced anesthesiologist is always guaranteed to be present in the operating room to manage any complications.

Our First Aid service operates from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., 7 days a week, including holidays.
